As CEO of Living Well in Wabash County CoA, Inc., a key part of Beverly’s work since 2003, has been diversifying funding sources, resource development and community collaborations. She is a past Indiana delegate to NCOA’s NISC Delegate Council and their Public Policy Committee Chair. She is past president of Indiana Association of Senior Centers.
Amy Rose is a ten year fundraising veteran working for various types of nonprofits including religious, arts, social services and healthcare. She has a personal lifetime fundraising tally of over $500M working in over 38 states across the United States.
Amy and Beverly have successfully worked together on Living Well in Wabash County CoA’s strategic development plans, feasibility study and annual fund campaigns since 2012, raising more than $500,000 over three years for the senior center’s operating budget in addition to an anonymous gift of $200,000 to the permanent endowment in 2013.
Development in a Box will present the tools needed to create an annual fund campaign for a senior center as part of an overall development strategy. This will include strategic development plans such as case statement, feasibility study, annual fund letters, step by step instructions and a time line for a completing a successful campaign.
